     Carbon Black conisists of extremely fine particles which are produced by incomplete thermal decomposition of aromatic oils under carefully controlled conditions     
      Its physical appearance is that of black, finely divided pellet or powder form. These different grades of Carbon Blacks differ in their colloidal properties and therefore tend to impart varying degree of  reinforcement to the vulcanisates.The common use of Carbon Black is in automobile treys & tubes, automobile rubber & plastic products, conveyor belts, house, footwear, etc.

       Traditionally, Carbon Black has been used as a reinforcing agent in treys;  today  because of its unique properties, the uses of Carbon Black have expanded to include pigmentation, inks, ultraviolet (UV) stabilization and conductive agents in a variety of specialty high performance products.
